Hello, I'm Laura, the face behind Jar of Wishes.

All our products are made with the highest quality, vegan friendly and cruelty free ingredients. Handmade in small batches to ensure every item is made with care and attention. We have a huge returning customer base who absolutely love our products and give us 5* reviews. We are CLP compliant and all our bath & shower products have full CPSR assessments.

Jar of wishes was created after I suffered from severe postnatal depression after having my 3rd child in 2019, an illness that drove me to try and take my own life. After being admitted to a mother and baby unit for 2 months, the health care professionals wanted me to take up a hobby. Something that I could focus on and there I found a love for making candles & wax melts. After returning home I decided to create Jar Of Wishes, along with my partner Lee who deals with the admin side of things.

Our small business grew from strength to strength in 2020- 2022 and we were delighted to have a huge returning customer base, however due to personal reasons I had to take a break in 2023 but am now excited to return and make my dream a success.

The wish for my products is that they encourage relaxation, time for YOU to focus on yourself and in turn promoting positive mental health.
